National Academy of Performing
Arts (NAPA), a Section 42 company operating in the field of performing arts
education in Karachi, seeks to appoint experienced and qualified professionals
for positions listed below.
Funded principally by Government,
through grants-in-aid, NAPA holds a unique position as the first-of-its-kind
conservatoire offering education and training in performing arts disciplines.
Our alumni presently enrich multiple other arts institutions and media.
THEATRE COORDINATOR
Theatre Coordinator will play a
key role in supporting Head of Theatre Arts in all academic administration as
well as artistic coordination. H/she will also support the department in
planning and execution of theatre productions along with overseeing the semester-based
Theatre Arts Diploma Program at NAPA. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's
degree in Arts or Humanities, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of
relevant experience as a coordinator or program manager in an educational
institution. Sound understanding of academic administration is essential. Age:
Up to 35 years
COSTUMES AND PROPS INCHARGE
Costumes and Props In-charge will
be responsible for overseeing the procurement, maintenance, and coordination of
props, costumes, and other production materials for theatre productions and
events at NAPA. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in any Arts or
humanities discipline with a strong understanding and experience of production
design, costume management and/or design, theatrics and arts administration. A
minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a theatre/
film or production setting, is preferred. Age: Up to 35 years
STUDENT AFFAIRS COUNSELLOR
Student Affairs Counsellor will
be responsible for providing guidance, support, and resources to students to
help them navigate academic, personal, and professional challenges and working
on NAPA's degree affiliation programme. This role presents an exciting
opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students' holistic
development and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Candidates should ideally hold a Master's degree in Psychology/Social Work, or
a related field from a recognized institution, with a Minimum of 3 years of
experience in counselling or student affairs roles, preferably in a higher
education setting.
