Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Technical Advisor, MP-I scale, on contract basis in Ministry of Maritime Affairs. The position will be filled strictly on merit, in a transparent manner.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Required Educational Ph.D. degree in Ports/Shipping / Naval Sciences/ Maritime Sciences/ Maritime Business & Management from a Qualification and globally recognized university / HEC with at least fourteen (14) years professional experience or Master degree in relevant subjects with 18 years' experience in the relevant field.

Experience Age Limit

Maximum = 62 years (to be calculated as on the closing date of submission of applications).

Tenure of contract

The tenure of the Technical Advisor shall be initially for a period of three (03) years further extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on annual (yearly) basis, subject to satisfactory performance.

Termination of Contract

The contract of Technical Advisor may be terminated by one month's notice on either side or payment of one month's basic pay in lieu thereof.

Pay Package

The Technical Advisor shall receive pay package of MP-I Scale in accordance with the Management Position Scale Policy.

Application Submission guidelines

                                             i.                        Persons having requisite experience and qualification should submit their applications along with their CV's and attested photocopies of the testimonials including CNIC and one recent passport size photograph to Deputy Secretary (A&P), Ministry of Maritime Affairs, 8th Floor, Kohsar Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad by 02-09-2024 (Monday) during office hours.

                                           ii.                        Application form and detailed Terms of Reference (TORS)/Job Description etc for the position can be downloaded from the website www.moma.gov.pk. Candidates also can apply on https://njp.gov.pk/).

                                         iii.                        The applicants working in Government/Semi Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies should obtain NOCS from their parent organizations.

                                         iv.                        Only eligible applicants will be invited for interview.

                                           v.                        The eligibility/selection of the candidate shall also be examined in the light of existing MP Scale Policy-2020 placed on website of the Ministry.

                                         vi.                        Applications which do not fulfil the above-mentioned criteria or those received after due date and time will not be entertained.

                                        vii.                        No TA/DAwill be paid to the candidates.
