VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF VICE CHANCELLOR
PEOPLES UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES FOR WOMEN (PUMHSW), SHAHEED BENAZIRABAD

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the position of Vice Chancellor, Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women (PUMHSW), Shaheed Benazirabad, as per the provisions of the Universities Act, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The Vice Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chief Minister of Sindh.
  2. Must be a distinguished academician with a terminal degree (Ph.D., FRCP, etc.) in a relevant field.
  3. Must have experience in senior academic, research, or management positions.
  4. Must have at least 20 years of experience in teaching/research in medical sciences.
  5. Must have at least 5 years of administrative experience.
  6. Must have a record of excellence in teaching, research, and administration.
  7. Must have experience in developing academic programs and supervising research.
  8. Must have experience in fundraising and resource mobilization.
  9. Must have experience in international collaboration and networking.
  10. Must have experience in strategic planning and implementation.

  13. Must have experience in governance and leadership.
  14. Must have experience in financial management and budgeting.
  15. Must have experience in human resource management.
  16. Must have experience in infrastructure development.
  17. Must have experience in community engagement and outreach.
  18. Must have experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.
  19. Must have experience in conflict resolution and crisis management.
  20. Must have experience in legal and regulatory compliance.
