Applications are invited for the position of

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Contract: 3 Years (extendable for 2 years)
Reports to: CEO
Location: Islamabad

Islamabad Club seeks a qualified and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the Club's finance function, safeguard its financial integrity, and provide the insight that supports sound decisions and the Club's long-term financial sustainability.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the overall financial strategy of the Club.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and laws.
  • Manage member billing, subscriptions, receivables and recovery of outstanding dues.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, investments of Club funds and banking relationships.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls over F&B, rooms, stores, sports and event revenues; liaise with the external auditors and the Head of Internal Audit.
  • Ensure full tax compliance (income tax, sales tax on services, withholding) and all statutory filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to the CEO, Finance Committee and Board, including departmental profitability and costing.
  • Lead, develop and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.

EDUCATION

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA) as mandatory qualification.
  • MBA (Finance), in addition to the above, from an HEC-recognized university shall be considered as an additional advantage.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience, of which at least 5 years as CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
  • Experience in hospitality, a members' club or a not-for-profit organization will be preferred.
  • Working experience with ERP/hospitality accounting systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera or similar).

TERMS OF CONTRACT

  • Appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 3 years.
  • The contract may be extended for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.
  • The position is purely contractual and not regularizable; the appointee shall have no claim to regularization or permanent employment.
