OFFICE OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR PIPOS

Applications are invited from eligible candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for appointment against the following positions at Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic And Orthotic Science (PIPOS), Peshawar.

Note: Advertisement Nos. INF (P) 2039/26 dated 06 May 2026 and INF (P) 3212/26 dated 30 June 2026, in respect of the posts of Director PRSP (Patient Care) and Director Academics, are hereby declared null and void, except for the post of Managing Director, and superseded by this advertisement.

Applicants who have already applied for the posts of Director PRSP and Director Academic against the previously published advertisements shall submit a fresh application in accordance with the revised/approved eligibility criteria; however, no additional application processing fee shall be required, subject to submission of proof of the earlier fee deposit.

Vacancies

1. Director PRSP (Patient Care)

• Age Limit: Up to 54 years
• Method of Recruitment: Initial Recruitment

Qualification & Experience:

• BS or higher qualification in Prosthetics & Orthotics or Allied Limbs Rehabilitation fields.
• 10 years of experience in Prosthetics and Orthotics or allied limb rehabilitation at a recognized Rehabilitation Centre of Persons with Disabilities.
• Candidates having advanced qualifications in management-related fields such as:
• Organizational Management
• Hospital / Health Care Management
• Public Health
• Other relevant disciplines
• Such qualifications will be highly considered.

2. Director Academics

• No. of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Up to 54 years
• Method of Recruitment: Initial Recruitment

Qualification & Experience:

Option 1

• MS / MPhil in Prosthetics and Orthotics or allied rehabilitation fields.
• 10 years of experience in limb rehabilitation.
• At least 5 years teaching experience in Prosthetics and Orthotics or allied limb rehabilitation fields.

OR

Option 2

• BS in Prosthetics and Orthotics or allied limb rehabilitation fields.
• 10 years of experience in limb rehabilitation.
• At least 5 years teaching experience in the relevant fields.

Preference:

• Advanced qualifications in:
• Organizational Management
• Hospital Health Care Management
• Public Health
• Other relevant disciplines

Terms and Conditions

1. Application form can be downloaded from www.pipos.gkp.pk.
2. Applications accompanied by complete bio-data, academic/experience/domicile certificates, two recent photographs, and attested CNIC copy must reach the Office of the Managing Director PIPOS through registered courier/post within 15 days of publication of the advertisement.
3. By-hand submission of application forms will not be entertained.
4. Application form along with Bank Draft in favor of Managing Director PIPOS or direct deposit in National Bank of Pakistan, Branch Code 1759, A/C No. 3011734865, Account Title PIPOS Training & Education, must be submitted through registered courier/post.

5. Documents received after the due date will not be entertained even if payment was made within the due date.
6. Appointment shall be for three years, extendable once for another term based on satisfactory performance and board approval.
7. Probation period shall be three months.
8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
9. If the closing date falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be treated as the closing date.
10. Applications received after closing time/date shall be rejected.
11. Scrutiny Committee may reject incomplete applications.
12. Aggrieved candidates may appeal to the PIPOS Board; the Board's decision shall be final.
13. A candidate may be disqualified if he/she:
• Is convicted by a court of law.
• Is dismissed/terminated from public service.
• Furnishes false information or forged/tampered documents.
• Attempts to obtain support through improper means.
• Misbehaves during the interview.
14. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.
15. Competent authority may increase, decrease, or cancel posts as required.
16. Government servants/autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
17. No TA/DA will be provided for interview.
18. PIPOS encourages applications from all genders, minority groups, and persons with disabilities. KP Government quota rules shall apply.
19. Service will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PIPOS Act, 1999.
20. Candidates disqualified by any court or barred from holding public office are ineligible.
21. Candidates having a conflict of interest affecting performance of duties are ineligible.
22. Candidates shall furnish a certificate from the immediate previous employer confirming that no case of fraud, corruption, misconduct, or disciplinary proceedings is pending against them.
