Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan. They are seeking eligible candidates for the position of Senior Team Lead (R&D Secretariat).

Job Overview & Key Details

  • Position: Senior Team Lead (R&D Secretariat) — 01 Post
  • Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on the closing date (no age relaxation permitted).
  • Remuneration: Market-based, competitive salary package commensurate with skills and experience.
  • Probation: The first 3 months will be on probation, after which employment continues as per company policy.
  • Application Deadline: 02nd-November-2026

Requisite Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA)

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a PEC-accredited institution or any other relevant degree from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification professional experience in the power sector, power planning, hydropower, renewable energy, power-system studies, R&D, innovation, project development, project management, or donor-funded programs.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Pakistan's power sector (generation, transmission, distribution, sector planning, regulatory framework, energy transition, renewables, energy storage, and institutional reform). Familiarity with donor-funded programs, public-sector procedures, procurement processes, and project monitoring is a distinct advantage.
