JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The GIK Institute, in collaboration with Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), has decided to establish an IT Training Center in Federal College for Women, F-7/4, (Margalla Campus), Islamabad under the Prime Ministers High Impact Technology Initiative for IT Courses for unemployed youth. Applications are invited for the following positions in the IT Training Center on contract basis:

Program Director

Qualifications:

PhD in Computer Science or related field, with minimum 5 years academic and industry experience in teaching IT, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and practical skills in Software Development etc. He/she should excel in leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving, with adaptability to fast-paced environment and emerging IT trends. Qualifications:

A. Assistant Professor:

PhD in Computer Science or related field from HEC recognized University / Institution, preferably from a foreign university, having expertise in Al, Data Science and Block Chain, with First Class academic career. Faculty members with industry experience will be given preference.

B. Lecturer:

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from HEC recognized University Institution, with First Class academic career and having expertise in Al, Data Science and Block Chain.

C. Industry Expert:

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with 3-4 years of experience in IT, having expertise in Al, Data Science and Black Chain, along with training experience in IT field is preferred.

Some requirements may be relaxed for individuals having relevant industry experience.

Deputy Director (Admin)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree

Minimum five years management as well as general administration / security experience in office environment, in a govt. or semi govt. department. More experienced candidates will be preferred.
