The Karachi Water & Sewerage
Corporation (KW&SC), established under the KW&SC Act, 2023, is a
prominent public sector entity responsible for providing clean and safe
drinking water, alongside efficient sewerage services, to the residents of
Karachi. KW&SC is currently undertaking significant infrastructure
development projects aimed at enhancing water supply and sewerage services in
Karachi.
One of the key initiatives is
KWSSIP-II, a comprehensive infrastructure project funded by the Karachi Water
& Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP) Phase-II, which is
supported by the World Bank and co-financed by the Asian Infrastructure
Investment Bank (EIB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. This
project aims to improve the efficiency and quality of our Water filtration
plants to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable water resources in Karachi.
PROJECT MANAGER - ELECTRICAL AND
MECHANICAL AT KWSSIP-II
KW&SC invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for
the position of Project Manager (Electrical and Mechanical) to oversee the
implementation of Contract KWSSIP-II. The Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the
position are available on the Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation
(KW&SC) website.
REQUIRED AGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND
EXPERIENCE:
Education: A Master’s degree
(preferred) or minimum Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Electrical
/ Mechanical Engineering from a reputable national or international university.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5
years in a similar role in large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience in
water supply and sewerage projects will be preferred.
Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and
monitoring. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent
communication and leadership skills.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 50 years.
