Kot Addu Power Company Limited
(Company) is a leading publicly listed energy company on the Pakistan Stock
Exchange. The Company is diversifying its investment portfolio by acquiring a
substantial stake in a large cement company. The Company is seeking a Chief
Executive Officer with exceptional skills and a proven track record of success
to lead the Company through its next phase of growth, diversification, and
transformation into an industrial conglomerate.
This is a unique opportunity to
shape the strategic direction of the Company amid evolving market dynamics,
regulatory reform, and a growing focus on efficiency and sustainability in
Pakistan’s energy sector and across other existing and emerging business
sectors.
The Chief Executive Officer will
provide overall leadership for the Company and work closely with the Board of
Directors to drive long‑term value creation, operational excellence, and
strategic growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Lead the development and execution of corporate
strategy aligned with Board priorities.
- Drive portfolio diversification and identify new growth
opportunities across conventional and renewable energy and other potential
sectors.
Investment & Partnerships
- Originate and execute strategic investments, including
mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing, as well
as overseeing disposal of non‑used power plant.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors,
lenders, and strategic partners at national and international levels.
Regulatory & Stakeholder
Engagement
- Navigate Pakistan’s evolving energy landscape,
including CTBCM and related regulatory frameworks.
- Engage effectively with government authorities,
regulators, and key stakeholders to support business objectives in
diversified fields.
Operational & Financial
Performance
- Ensure efficient, cost‑effective operations and
delivery of financial and performance targets.
- Oversee execution of existing and pipeline projects.
Organizational Leadership
- Strengthen organizational capability, leadership bench,
and performance culture.
- Promote innovation, accountability, and high standards
of governance.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A seasoned leader with a strong track record of leading
large, complex, and multidimensional organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver growth, execute
strategic investments, and manage high‑value projects.
- Deep understanding of Pakistan’s business and
regulatory environment, particularly within energy, infrastructure, and
other sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and
influencing skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to
corporate governance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 20 years professional experience, including at
least 10 years in senior executive leadership roles.
- Proven track record in energy, infrastructure,
financial, or other capital‑intensive sectors.
- Experience in investment strategy, project development
and execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced degree in business, engineering, finance, or
related field from a reputable institution (local or international)
preferred.
